The central air conditioning system has many advantages, one of which is the complete absence of noise from the operating unit, because the air conditioner itself is located outdoors, and cool air is supplied to them through the ducts. There are several flavors of systems that use different settings. One of them is a panel-type central frame air conditioner.

Design features

The supply structure is assembled on a metal frame (frame) by combining several modules, each of which has its own functions. The equipment can be completed according to the customer's requirements by installing one or another modular unit. In this case, the installation can be assembled in one or two tiers.

Central frame-panel air conditioners are a structure, the sections of which consist of a frame (aluminum profile) and sandwich panels, which are easily dismantled and assembled into a single structure.

  • standard internal design, designated by the abbreviation KCKP, which is installed in ventilation chambers or in special rooms for air conditioners;
  • external design with the addition of the letter "N" (KCKP-N), which are mounted on the street, more often on the roofs of buildings;
  • KCKP-S - northern version for use in regions with low temperatures;
  • KCKP-V - explosion-proof version;
  • KCKP-Ae - earthquake-resistant equipment used in air conditioning systems of nuclear power plants;
  • KCKP-Gn - used in rooms with increased requirements for hygiene standards;
  • KCKP-P - manufactured for installation in the metro and other underground structures.

All offered air-conditioning frame-panel units are a large model range in terms of equipment performance. The range of technical characteristics is quite impressive - 400-100000 m³ / h, therefore, it will not be difficult to coordinate and select the necessary air conditioner for the required parameters of premises or buildings.

It should be borne in mind: the higher the performance, the larger the module sizes. The smallest compact module of the KCKP-1.6 brand has a block section of 592x287 mm. The most powerful KCKP-100 has a cross-sectional area of ​​3660x2440 mm.

Depending on how the air conditioning unit will operate - for cooling or additionally for heating the supplied air, two configuration options are considered:

  • without installing a heating module;
  • with heating module.

The heating section is presented in three models: water, steam or electric. In the first two cases, a heat exchanger is installed in the module, through the tubes of which hot water or steam moves. In the latter case, these are ordinary heating elements blown with air.

General complete set with sections:

  1. Entrance. Dampers are installed in the structure, with the help of which the volume of air supply is regulated.
  2. Filtration, retaining dust, insects and other particles that fly into the air duct together with the air.Usually, two types of filters are installed: coarse cleaning (purified up to 60%) and fine purification (delay up to 90% of dirt). All filters are made to fit the dimensions of the module in the form of frames. They are inserted and removed from the section without disassembling the air conditioner.
  3. Cooling section. Two different heat exchangers are used depending on the refrigerant used in the system. If it is cold water, a steel tubular heat exchanger is installed. If freon or another refrigerant of this type, a tubular copper heat exchanger is used, to which a special collector is added. All types of heat exchangers are equipped with aluminum fins (plates), which increase the heat exchange area. All cooling sections of central frame-panel air conditioners are equipped with condensate collectors and drip collectors.
  4. Fan room. A fan is installed, the main function of which is to take air from the street and supply it to the cooled rooms. The module can be installed between any sections or directly at the outlet when connecting the air conditioner to the internal air ducts.
  5. Sound absorption section. The purpose is to reduce the sounds coming from the fan operation. Plates are inserted inside, which are made of several layers of folded mineral wool or fiberglass. The latter is selected taking into account the density.

The air heating section can be installed before or after the cooling module.

Heat recovery section

The latest research in the field of energy saving made it possible to use additional recuperation sections in KCKP air conditioners. Air is preheated in them, which is then heated to the required temperature. In this case, heating occurs due to the temperature of the air flow discharging through the ventilation. There are three types of equipment used: plate, rotary and recuperators with an intermediate heat exchanger.

Another block that is used in the design of KCKP air conditioners is a module for humidification or dehumidification of air masses. It can be used to control the humidity in rooms. Control can be carried out in each room separately or in all at once.

Operating conditions

Frame-panel equipment is equipped with automatic equipment, which is responsible for the correct operation of all modules. With its help, the set operating parameters of the air conditioning system are controlled, as well as protection against emergencies is performed.

The automation is based on temperature sensors that monitor the temperature inside the premises. It is they who give signals to the fans, which turn off or reduce the speed of the impeller. In this way, the temperature regime is regulated, or the heating medium / refrigerant supply valves are closed.

All automation is united by a central unit that reads information from controllers (sensors).

There are no serious requirements for operating conditions. It is necessary to clean or change filters in time, check the heat exchangers for free space between the fins, as they are sometimes clogged with dust. It is necessary to check the operation of the fans, the compressor of the air conditioning unit and other devices.

Equipment prices depend on the performance of the units and the design. KCKP-3.15 without automation can be bought for 140,000 rubles. Complete with an automation system, the price is 220,000 rubles. The same capacity air conditioner version "C" costs 350,000 rubles.
